The Seattle Seahawks staged a stunning fightback to defeat the Los Angeles Rams in overtime, clinching their spot in the postseason.

Overcoming a 30-14 hole in the fourth quarter, the Seahawks triumphed by a single point at home, registering their fifth consecutive win.

While the Los Angeles had become the first to earn a playoff berth earlier on game day, the Seahawks booked their return to the postseason after a two-year hiatus.

With this result, the Seahawks now lead their Conference race with a 12-3 mark, supplanting the Los Angeles, who fell to the number five seed with an 11-4 standing.

Quarterback Darnold threw two interceptions but recovered to deliver two scoring throws, including the second TD to star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the extra period.

The Rams held a six-point lead at half-time before Walker burst through for a 55-yard scoring dash for Seattle.

Rams defensive back Wallace then returned Darnold's initial pick for a big return, leading to a short score by Blake Corum on the ensuing snap.

In the final stanza, a touchdown from Matthew Stafford to Puka Nacua pushed the Rams' lead to sixteen points, but Shaheed ignited Seattle's comeback with a 58-yard return for a score.

Darnold then found Barner in the end zone, and a successful two-point play forced the game into overtime.

Although Puka Nacua scored for his second touchdown in overtime, Smith-Njigba responded in kind to setup the game-winning score.
